The accompanying music video, featuring Ron Jeremy , was released on 17 March The album was first released exclusively on Spotify on 29 April , followed by its official release on digital and physical media on 3 May Armin van Buuren described genre composition of Intense as "more house -y electro stuff and of course trance, some rock influence, even a little bit of dubstep and classical music in there" during an interview with British DJ Pete Tong.

I was happy to pay this much for 1 song, because when Armin stuff is good, there is nothing else like it. However, the entire CD surprised us, because it has lots of great stuff, and most of the songs are sung by ladies with lovely voices.
They sound more personal than the Armin collections from the Beach or the Club We never get tired of listening to Armin at his best! By the way, this music is best when you are driving It has too much energy for just listening.
If you love trance, and you love Armin who is the King of trance in our opinion you will love this CD. Played the vinyl today, Side A and B are some reggae artist.
I love this album! But this one has them all beat, even of his own. I downloaded this album about three months ago and I still play it it ALL. This is truly a masterpiece.
Well done, Armin! If I could give it ten stars, I would. This is Armin's third artist CD and I think it is his best overall effort yet.
Whereas his previous two artist CD's had a good number of outstanding tracks, they were not as solid as this effort is. I was quite disappointed with Armin's A State of Trance , starting with the stupid cover.
Not sure what he was thinking when he did the cover. Anyway, this is a very nice return to form for Armin. For me the outstanding tracks are This is what it feels like, Love never came, Beautiful life, Pulsar, Sound of the Drums, Alone and Who's afraid of ?!
Anyone who has had the incredible pleasure of seeing Armin live knows there is no other DJ in the world as intensely passionate about music as Armin is.

Armin is and has always been a step ahead with all his creations and productions He still Kept his own usual style of mixing beautiful and classical melodies with the massive "intense" track along with some beautiful vocalists such as Emma Hewitt, Aruna just to name a few and new comer Trevor Guthrie "this is what it feels like" is one of my favorite tracks of the album This album really grows on you.
So many surprises, themes, melodies, emotionsall of which are thoughtful and like the title says, "Intense.
There are so many artists out there producing things that will soon be forgotten, but this isn't one of them. This is my top ten albums of all time.
