Bundesliga Videos.A tidy move down the left as Brekalo plays Philipp towards the byline, and his pass back to the edge of the box is met by Baku who superbly touches it inside past Cunha before lashing the ball home with his left foot past Schwolow.
Top class from the Wolfsburg right-back. A dangerous run across the edge of the Hertha box can't be stopped and the Croatian gets his shot away, but it's saved well by Schwolow and half-cleared by the defence in front of him.
A few minutes of pressure here for the Wolves. The ball is moving from one side of the pitch to the other in no time at all here, with both side's midfield players struggling to claim control of the ball.
It's making for entertaining viewing so far. Mittelstädt's whipped crossed from the left is met by Cordoba on the jump, but he can't keep his header on target.
Hertha score from their first attack while Wolfsburg have also had the ball in the net and have been attacking again already.
A good start for both sides, but the hosts obviously happier having gone in front. A goal ruled out at one end, but scored at the other!
Lukebakio has the ball on the right and dribbles in and out past Roussillon before finding Cunha on the edge. The Brazilian falls as he shoots on his left, but he gets enough behind his effort to send it into the far bottom corner past Casteels.
Almost the dream start for Philipp in his Berlin return as Roussillon finds Weghorst in the box, and his ball across goal is poked home by the Wolfsburg forward.
But Weghorst was offside when Roussillon's pass was played and so the goal is ruled out. Bright start from the visitors though. The ball is rolling with the home side getting us underway.
Kick-off is just five minutes away in Berlin at the Olympiastadion for our final game of the day, before tomorrow's final game of the weekend between Hoffenheim and Union.
Compared to last time out against Bielefeld, there are three changes for Wolfsburg. All three central midfielders from the last game don't start today apart from Guilavogui, Arnold is also missing, Mehmedi is on the bench.
Arnold is not involved today with his partner going into labour last night with the birth of their child expected today, so a congratulation goes out to him from us!
Hertha's deadline day loan signing from Arsenal is waiting on the bench to make his Bundesliga debut today. Guendouzi was forced to isolate after 14 days after international duty last month, but is now back and able to help his new side.
Weghorst has also scored twice for Wolfsburg. Hertha have made their worst start to a season for 11 years. The Old Lady have lost their first two games of the season.
Three in a row to start a campaign would be a dubious club first. Another effort on goal from him after Wirtz's pass forward.
Bailey moves onto his left foot on the edge of the Freiburg box in the middle of the pitch and forces a save from Müller.
We'll have three minutes of stoppage time at the end of this one, with Leverkusen looking comfortable here. Leverkusen are heading for victory here, which will take them to fourth place and keep their unbeaten start to the season intact - the only unbeaten record still going after six weekends.
Jeong's cross from the left goes all the way to the other side of Leverkusen's penalty area, but Petersen meets it with a sweetly-struck half-volley.
It's headed for the far corner, but Hradecky is across to make a solid save. Lovely strike from Petersen to get that on target from a tough angle.
Three changes at once from Streich with Kwon, Jeong and Demirovic all on and into the attack for the final 10 minutes or so.
A huge goal in the context of the game as Leverkusen get their two-goal lead back. Demirbay wins a corner with his shot deflected behind, and he takes it himself, curling the ball in towards the penalty spot and Tah leaps to head it back across goal and beyond Müller's reach.
Leverkusen are still gunning for more goals as well as Bailey shoots from range. On a good day, that one finds the top corner.
But today it floats wide of goal. We have a game on our hands, people. The super-sub does his job and Freiburg are back.
Sallai finds Grifo on the right, and his fantastic low cross goes between Tah and Hradecky, beyond Höler, and find Petersen at the back post who slots home.
His third goal of the season. The away side aren't settling on the current scoreline. With Tah and Demirbay on, the attack-minded play is ongoing.
Bailey is finding plenty of space on the right flank and looking to make the most of it. A stunning strike from Nadiem Amiri has Leverkusen two goals up, and it comes from another Freiburg mistake.
Höfler it is again whose pass on the left is wayward, and Leverkusen pounce. Wirtz finds Amiri, who races forward before cutting inside past Santamaria before curling a superb shot past Müller.
Freiburg's super-sub, the record-scoring substitute in Bundesliga history is on, with Petersen replacing Kübler. A caution for the Frenchman now after a late challenge on Kübler.
The Frenchman has options around him as he approaches the Freiburg penalty area, but decides to curl a shot looking for the far top corner. There's not enough strength behind it though and Müller gathers.
The home side making a better start to this second half, improving on their end to the first. Hradecky not been tested yet but Streich will be happy with their start.
He's the second Freiburger booked, this one for a challenge on Bailey. A tidy one-two on the left sends Grifo away and he's afforded too much time and space by the Leverkusen defence.
He reaches the edge of the penalty area and shoots at goal, curling his strike just wide of the mark. If Freiburg are to get back onto this one, you feel it will come from him.
No changes at the break for either side as we get the game back underway here. An entertaining first half, what's to come in the second?
We're into two minutes of added time at the end of the first half. The left-back is up in the Freiburg box and on the end of Wirtz's clipped cross into the box, but his volley is blocked by Kübler.
It's a brace for Alario just before the break and Leverkusen have turned this game around before half-time. Alario had a shot blocked but Leverkusen recycled the play well with Wirtz playing Lars Bender into the box on the overlap, and his cut-back into the box was met by Alario who curled it home at the near post past Müller.
His 5th of the season! Freiburg doing well to keep Leverkusen's pressure controlled, and they're looking dangerous on the counter-attack themselves with Schmid, Sallai and Grifo working together down the right flank.
Hradecky has had more work to do than Müller at the opposite end of the pitch in this first half. So close to bringing Freiburg into the lead again.
Günter's cross is headed back across goal by Schmid at the back post, and is then headed back at goal by Grifo.
Hradecky somehow makes a reflex save to tip the ball over his own crossbar after the Italian's powerful effort. The fourth goal of the season for Alario and Leverkusen are level.
It's Freiburg, though, who are really kicking themselves. Höfler's attempted pass back into defence is misplaced and Heintz can't reach it, leaving Alario to race onto the loose ball into the penalty area.
Müller comes out, but Alario slots the ball under him across goal with a tidy finish. Great strike from the Jamaican as he sends a left-footed shot at goal from range, dipping towards Müller, who is forced to parry it away uncomfortably.
Freiburg have now scored four of their seven league goals this season in the opening 15 minutes of games - a league-best alongside Bayern Munich.
The Freiburg playmaker curls the forthcoming free-kick at goal with power behind it, towards the corner that Hradecky was covering.
It glides just past the post with the Leverkusen No. Situation Red card. Decision Yellow card. The Leverkusen centre-back is shown a red card for a tactical foul on Höler, pulling the striker back as he raced into the Leverkusen penalty area.
It will be checked by Video-Assist. Leverkusen getting in the flow more and more now, as Amiri's shot takes a deflection behind off Santamaria for a corner - their first of the game.
It's played short and eventually cleared, but positive signs for Leverkusen. Leverkusen have struggled to get the ball forward and keep it there for any length of time so far.
The space between defence and midfield has been closed-off well by Freiburg. Freiburg have the ball in the Leverkusen net once again here, but the offside flag is correctly raised.
Leverkusen's high line almost caught out again with Höler running in behind. He then clipped the ball across for Schmid to superbly volley home, but Höler was offside when the initial pass was played.
It's a very attacking set-up for Leverkusen here, with Baumgartlinger alone in defensive midfield. Well, that's how you kick-off a Bundesliga game!
Lucas Höler latches on to Kübler's long ball down the line in behind Tapsoba. Hradecky stays put, so Höler flicks the ball past him with the outside of his right foot.
A lovely finish from a close angle for his first of the season. The away side get us underway in Freiburg. Just minutes away from kick-off here in a wet Freiburg.
The grass will be damp and the football will be slick. This should be a fun start to our Sunday double-header, with Hertha Berlin vs. Wolfsburg to come next.
Christian Streich only makes one change to his side, but with that ensures there are two firsts for the season. With Kübler set to start at right-back, there could be a tactical switch on the cards for the Black Forest side, unless Vincenzo Grifo simply joins Lucas Höler up front.
Most of Leverkusen's regulars who were rested in the Europa League on Thursday start again in Freiburg.
Peter Bosz makes six changes from that side which suffered defeat in Prague, including returns for the Bender brothers, Tapsoba and Sinkgraven in a completely new back four - returning to the first-choice look.
Compared to the last Bundesliga outing, however, there is only one change and that is youngster Florian Wirtz starting in midfield ahead of Exequiel Palacios.
With just three goals conceded in their first five games, Peter Bosz's Leverkusen side boats the league's second-best defence with only Borussia Dortmund letting in fewer goals.
A clean sheet today would give them a huge chance of taking all three points. The former has one goal in six career outings against Leverkusen; the latter two in eight.
Grifo starts in attack today, while Petersen is waiting in the wings as a substitute. The Argentine starts once again today looking to extend his scoring run in the Bundesliga, proving that life in Leverkusen can be fine in front of goal without Havertz and Volland.
Freiburg are unbeaten in their last five Bundesliga home matches. Hradecky - L. Bender c , S. We're now into four minutes of stoppage time at the end of this one.
A long ball forward is headed down by Sorloth, and Hwang is perfectly placed to flick it at goal but he miscues his effort and sends the ball wide.
Time running out for a Leipzig equaliser here. Lazaro and Stindl on for Gladbach to provide new energy for the final 10 minutes as they look to hold onto this slim lead.
The away side are working to create chances here but Gladbach's defence remains strong despite having just one out-and-out centre-back on the pitch.
With Thuram on the pitch, the Foals' counter-attack will also come further into play in these late stages. Thuram and Kramer both worked their socks off against Real Madrid in midweek, and will look to make a difference in the final 15 minutes or so here.
Hold onto your hats, folks, we have a game on our hands here in the final 20 minutes. Wow, what a counter-attack. Gladbach power forward down the right and Lainer's cutback to the edge of the penalty area is met by Plea who smashes a shot at goal.
He has to watch as it cannons back out off the post with Gulacsi not close to saving it. What an effort that was. Moments before those substitutions, Sabitzer came within inches of levelling the scores.
His left-footed curler from the edge of the Gladbach box had Sommer flat-footed, but just missed the target leaving him with his head in his hands.
Against his parent club, Wolf scores his first goal for Gladbach. Yes, that's right. Wolf is on loan at Gladbach this season from Leipzig and is allowed to face his parent club this evening, and has ended up scoring against them.
The Leipzig midfielder has made a few fouls today, and takes his caution for a foul on Embolo here. It's Hannes Wolf with the breakthrough!
Bensebaini does really well to spot Plea in a bit of space on the left side of Leipzig's penalty area.
He plays the ball into the box on the ground and Orban blocks, but the rebound falls to Wolf and he curls a first-time shot beautifully beyond Gulacsi's reach.
Sabitzer curls in a cross from the right using his left foot, with Sorloth and Poulsen to aim for in the box. Sorloth is closest to this one, but can only get a feather of a touch on the ball with his header and sends it wide.
The Gladbach midfielder doesn't allow a Leipzig free-kick to be taken quickly and he's booked. A high foot on Angelino earns the substitute the first yellow card of the game.
A mistake in the Leipzig backline as Upamecano loses possession, and Hofmann latches onto it. He speeds forward and plays across to Plea to his left who shoots first-time.
It's straight at Gulacsi, much to his disappointment, and the chance goes begging. A change at the break as Wendt comes on for Elvedi, with Bensebaini moving into centre-back alongside Ginter.
The Frenchman slots home from Herrmann's flick on but he's just offside when the ball came his way. That would've been the perfect end to the first half for Gladbach.
Leipzig have had the better of the play here in the first half, with Gladbach struggling to create goal-scoring opportunities despite their attacking numbers on the pitch.
Leipzig break on the counter with Samardzic intercepting from Hofmann. It's a four-on-three in their favour, as Olmo takes possession on the right side of Gladbach's penalty area but sees his shot blocked by the home defence.
Without the ball, Poulsen is out on the right flank for Leipzig with Olmo up front alongside Sorloth to press. An interesting move from Nagelsmann to get strength on the far side against Bensebaini.
Sorloth is enjoying himself here as he draws Elvedi to him and then skips past him in midfield, racing to the Gladbach box. He plays the ball across goal and Poulsen is just inches from tapping it home past Sommer.
Leipzig getting closer and closer to the opener. The Gladbach coach is down on the touchline applauding his side's efforts, and calling for more of the same from them.
Leipzig have come closest to opening the scoring here but it's been an even contest overall in the opening 20 minutes. That's the order of the day for both sides in the Borussia-Park.
It's making for fascinating viewing as both teams look to break through the other's pressing game. Sorloth and Poulsen have done it well so far for Leipzig with some tidy combination play.
Poulsen and Sorloth working beautifully here early on. The Dane sends the Norwegian down the right flank and heading for the Gladbach box.
Sorloth returns the favour, finding Poulsen in front of goal, and his shot forces a save from Sommer. With Neuhaus and Hofmann in central midfield, Gladbach's team is an attacking one even with Thuram waiting on the bench.
Be sure that the Foals will be pushing the ball forward with every opportunity. Sorloth lays the ball off for Poulsen outside the Leipzig box, but his shot curls wide of the mark.
The away side get us underway in Gladbach! Both sides have made changes following exhausting Champions League outings in midweek, but this one should be a cracker.
Settle in for the fun with just a few minutes to go before kick-off. The home side will be sporting a special shirt today, celebrating the club's th birthday.
Hofmann has been Gladbach's most potent attacking force this season with a hand in nine goals in seven games in all competitions four goals, five assists - one every 73 minutes.
